It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jerry V. Betancourt, who passed away on June 9, 2026, at the age of 71 after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Born on February 22, 1955, Jerry V. Betancourt lived a life marked by dedication to his family, kindness to others, and a quiet strength that touched everyone who knew him. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished friend whose presence brought comfort, laughter, and guidance to those around him.

Jerry V. Betancourt is survived by his beloved wife, Maria, his three sons, Marc (Isabel) , Corey (Rochelle) and Nicholas, Maria’s children Olivia and Robert, grandchildren Marc Ryan, Clara, Kenneth, Robert G and Hannah, his brother Manuel (Norma). He took great pride in his family and treasured his time spent with them. His love, wisdom, and unwavering support will remain a lasting influence in their lives.

Throughout his life, Jerry V. Betancourt built meaningful relationships and created countless memories with family and friends. He will be remembered for his honesty, integrity, wisdom and the care he showed to those he loved.

Though he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
