Jerry Lynn Helmke passed away on February 22, 2022. Although he lost his vision, he never lost sight of what was important, his family. Jerry always had a smile and a joke on hand to brighten your day. He was extremely loving, funny, and kind. Jerry was a devoted Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros fan. He will be missed by; numerous nieces and nephews because he was simply the best uncle. He will also be missed by; his aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Jerry is survived by; his siblings Elroy Helmke, Mary Jones, Carolina Helmke, and their spouses. In death, he will be joining his mother, Mary Helmke, whom he loved dearly, and his father, Elroy Helmke Sr. We find comfort knowing he is in heaven with his brothers Gilbert and John Helmke cracking jokes. Please watch over us on earth until we can meet again. We love you, Jerry!
