Jerry Serros Sanchez was called home to be with the Lord on May 18, 2022, at the blessed age of 65.

He was born on July 23, 1956 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Sefereno and Paula Sanchez.

Jerry touched the hearts of many people during his journey in life from working as a migrant picker and custodian to working for the city of San Antonio, needless to say there was a story behind each experience.

Jerry had a hard life growing up which forced him to become street smart but because of that he always found a way to inspire those around him to become better individuals.

He journeyed through life with his forever sweetheart "Tela" whom he loved dearly and what brought the most joy to his heart was knowing all his children became successful in their own ways.  His favorite thing to do was to spend time at the beach with his close family and friends and two favorite dogs Junior and Chico.  Those moments will now only exist in our  memories and will be cherished forever.  He will be deeply missed and his memory will live on leaving an imprint in all of our hearts.

Jerry is survived by his beloved wife Sylvia Reyes Sanchez; Daughters: Estella Reyes Sanchez Moreno and Patricia Reyes Sanchez Velez; Sons: Jerry Reyes Sanchez Jr and Gonzalo Reyes Sanchez along with 16 grand children and 10 great-grand children.

Visitation will be held at Castillo Funeral Home on Thursday June 2, 2022 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm with the Rosary to be recited at 6:00pm

A funeral mass will be held on June 3, 2022 at St Gabriel's Church at 9:30am.
