Jesse Castillo was born on December 24th, 1930 and passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on June 23rd, 2023, at 92 years old.

He lived a life guided by love, faith, and service.

As a son, he was respectful and attentive, always caring for his mother. As a husband, he was loving and protective, always valuing the needs of his wife above his own. As a father, he was the best any child could ask for, always present and actively involved. As a grandfather, he was playful and supportive, always going the extra mile to bring a smile to our face. As a veteran, he was grateful and proud, always remembering his time in the Korean War and service to his country.

He was known for his dedication to his family, selfless heart, and penchant for fun. His life was an example of goodness and service, and he was a joy to those who knew him. Jesse is remembered and cherished by his wife, daughter, granddaughter, nieces, nephews, and community for the love that he had and his generosity of spirit.

The family will receive guests at Castillo Funeral Home on Sunday July 9, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Chapel Service conducted at 6:00 pm. Guest will meet at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, Shelter three, on Monday, July 10, 2023, for a 9:30 committal service.
