Jesse (Jesus) Francisco Alvarez was born the 28th of January 1932 in San Antonio, Tx to his parents Jesus V Alvarez and Catalina Gonzalez. At the age of 17 he enlisted with the U.S. Army, where he served during the Korean War. After his time in the Army he decided to move to California. There he met and married his first wife with whom he had 4 children; Pamela, Jesus, Angela, and Ricardo. Years later after his first marriage ended, he met and married his current wife Olinda Amaya, and they had one son, Erik. On July 12th 1986 Jesse was baptized and gave his life to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ in the city of Ventura, Ca. He dedicated his life to the church ministry and his family. In 2005 Jesse, Olinda, and Erik moved to San Antonio, Tx. There, he enjoyed his time with his older sister, Alicia and the rest of the Tx family. In has last few years of life he never abandoned his faith that strengthened him and the love he demonstrated to his family. Jesse was a respectful man and knew what hard work consisted of. He has finished his race and fought the good fight. Jesse now rests in peace with our Lord and has received his celestial crown. You will always be in our hearts, and the beautiful memories that are left.
