Jesse S. Jaramillo 'Chuy', 68, died on Saturday morning (January 7, 2023) at his residence in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was born October 12, 1954, in San Antonio, Texas, a son of Olivia Sanchez and the late Jesus M. Jaramillo.

Prior to his retirement Jesse was a proud member of the United States Navy for over 20 years. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life; spending time outside gardening or out fishing with his friends and family. Jesse was a generous man whose kindness knew no bounds as he would help anyone in need with his support, encouragement, and guidance. He was a true friend to all whom he met. A loving son, father, and grandfather who will be missed and remembered forever.

In addition to his father Jesus M. Jaramillo, he was preceded in death by his sister Linda Cortez.

Family members include a son Jesse W. Jaramillo (Rachel) of North Carolina and a daughter, Frances O. Jaramillo of Florida; 2 grandchildren; siblings Mary Jane Camacho (late husband, Lloyd 'Bobo'), Angela 'Angie' Gonzales (George), Refugio 'Kuko' Jaramillo (Linda), and Crispin Cortez; in addition to numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive guests from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at Castillo Funeral Home for visitation with a Rosary recited at 6:00 pm.

A committal service will be conducted at 10:15 am on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors.
