Jesse P. Lopez passed away peacefully on May 19, 2020 surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. He was 74 years old and born in San Antonio, TX. He joined the United States Army and proudly served in the Vietnam War. He retired after 20 + years from Fairchild Industries to enjoy time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of the VFW Post 1533, Vietnam Veterans Assn, and Masonic Victory Lodge #1160 for several years. Above all things his greatest loves were his wife of 53 years, and the family they built together.

Jesse is preceded in death by his beloved son, Jesus F. Lopez Jr, his parents Tomas and Maria Lopez and his four siblings Lilly, Eddie, Frank and Antonio. Jesse is loved and will be immensely missed by his wife Margie (Hon); daughters, Samantha Duran (Jaime), Angelica Suggs (Saad), Diana Lopez; 7 grandchildren, his beloved dog Layla, and many extended family and friends.

Visitation will take place at Castillo Mission Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 from 12pm until 4pm with a Rosary at 3pm. Departure from the funeral home will take place at 9am on Thursday, May 28, 2020 for a 10am Funeral Mass at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Fernando Catholic Cemetery II.
