Jesse Salas Torres passed away peacefully on December 27, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. He was surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. He was 81 years old.  He was born in Blissfield, Michigan on May 14, 1939.

Jesse was married for 62 years to the love of his life, Elvira Torres.  He had so much love for his wife, children and family.  He was a gentle, kind, hardworking & devoted husband and father. He treasured his walks around the neighborhood & his Native American heritage.  He had a beautiful Native American collection. Jesse was always vibrant about life and loved getting together with family.

Jesse is also preceded in death by his parents Phillipe & Estella Torres; grandson A.J. Torres; and sisters Rosa & Melody Torres.

Jesse is forever loved and will be missed tremendously by his children, Anna Sandoval (Rudy), Chris Rodriguez (Tudy), Tony Torres (Kathy) and Cyndi Martinez (Roger); 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brother & sisters from California, Florida, Michigan & Ohio and many extended family & friends.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 3pm-7:30 p.m. with a prayer service at 6pm. Family and friends will gather at the Funeral Home on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. to celebrate Jesse's life. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
