Jesse J. Villanueva went to be with our lord on March 13, 2022, at the age of 37.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jesse Villanueva Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Maria C. Villanueva; his daughter, Heather Valadez-Villanueva; siblings, Joel Villanueva and Jessica Villanueva-Rangel, in addition to numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, a nephew and extended family and friends.

Jesse was born on October 7, 1984, in San Antonio, Texas to Jesse and Maria Villanueva. He accomplished so many incredible things in life, but he especially loved his family and the memories made together with them. Jesse was a father, brother and son full of love, support, encouragement, and guidance. His capacity for generosity knew no bounds as he was someone who would help anyone in need. He inspired those around him to be a better person. Jesse enjoyed the simple pleasures in life such as finding peace outside doing yard work. He is a graduate of Highlands high school. He truly loved spending time with all who knew him but especially his family. Those times exists now in our memories, and we will cherish those forever. He truly was devoted to his family and brought immense joy to those around him. We loved his caring ways, and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Words cannot express the feeling in our hearts. Thank you for your prayers and support during this difficult time. Your shared memories, comforting condolences and gestures of love are truly appreciated.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Castillo funeral home from 3:30 to 8:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm. On Friday, March 25, 2022, a formal funeral procession will depart Castillo funeral home at 10:30 am for interment at 11:00 am at San Fernando II Catholic Cemetery.
