Jesus was born on October 9, 1943, in Seguin, Texas to the late Antonio Briseño and Salome Velasquez. He accomplished so many incredible things in life, but he was especially proud of and loved his family. All the memories made together with him will be cherished forever. The simplest pleasures in life such as spending time with family, playing cards, gambling, music, dancing, gardening and working on cars brought the greatest joy to him.

His capacity for generosity knew no bounds as he was someone who would help anyone in need. He inspired those around him to be a better person. He was full of love and had a beautiful soul and a loving heart. He was devoted to his faith and family and brought immense joy to those around him. We loved his caring ways, and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Words cannot express the feeling in our hearts. Thank you for your prayers and support during this difficult time. Your shared memories, comforting condolences and gestures of love are truly appreciated. His life will continue within us to keep his love for the family alive and may no division come upon us. These were his wishes. May he rest in peace.
