Jesus G. Del Rio (82) of San Antonio, Texas went to be with our Lord on February 4, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.  Jesus was born on August 8, 1942 in Columbus, Montana. Jesus married his wife Alice in 1971 and were together for 53 wonderful years. He was a hard-working construction worker who provided for his family. Jesus loved classic Western movies and was the biggest WWE wrestling fan. He was also a Temple of Praise Church member who looked forward to Sundays and Wednesdays to attend services.  Due to health issues, Jesus was unable to attend services but did make sure to attend virtually.

Jesus is preceded in death by his mother and father, Lucy and Manuel Del Rio, his brother, Manuel Del Rio, Jr., and survived by his sister, Mary De Puerto (Enrique).  Jesus is also survived by his beloved wife, Alice Del Rio, and their daughters, Jeanette Berlanga, Liz Cardenas, Yvonne Gonzales (Mike), Cynthia Del Rio, and Christina Del Rio (Richard), and 15 grandchildren – Michelle De Leon (Raul), Yvette Cardenas, Johnny Del Rio, Jasmine Brown, Vanessa Campbell (John), Madeline Del Rio, Brenda Almaguer, Veronica Cardenas, Michael Gonzales, Jr., Melissa Almaguer, Michael Cardenas, Samantha Gonzales, Raven Encino, Richard Encino, Violet Encino, and 17 great-grandchildren.

To honor Jesus' memory, a service will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025, at Castillo Funeral Home, 520 General McMullen Drive, San Antonio, TX, 78228. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am followed by a service at 10:00 am, and burial to follow at noon at San Fernando Cemetery No. 3.  Jesus will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
