Jesus Torres Macias ,also known by many as Chuy, was born on May 5, 1943 in Aguascalientes, Mexico. He was called home to be with the Lord on September 1, 2025 at 8:19 p.m. in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 82. He was surrounded by the love of his family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Salvador Macias and his mother, Belen Torres Macias.

He is survived by his wife, Marylou Macias. His daughters, Jessica James and Susana Macias. His grandchildren, Mikayla James and Jayden Sinha. His son in law, Manu Sinha. And by Randy Ramon.

Chuy was a man of deep faith.
He leaves behind a legacy of strength and love and devotion for his family and a lifetime of memories that will live forever in our hearts.
We love and will miss him immensely.

Visitation for Jesus Torres Macias will be held September 10, 2025 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6 p.m. at Castillo Funeral Home at 520 N. General McMullen, San Antonio, TX 78228 in Chapel G1. The interment will be on September 11, 2025 at San Fernando Cemetery II.
