Jesus F.
Santillan Sr.
December 10, 1973 – October 14, 2022
Jesus F. Santillan Sr. went to be with the Lord on October 14, 2022, at the age of 48.
He was born in San Antonio Texas on December 10, 1973, to his parents Sylvia Salazar and Manuel Santillan. Jesus had a lot of unforgettable memories with his four siblings, Juan, Mary, Soledad, and Margie. A man who loved being with family, Jesus constantly talked about the time spent with his 19 nieces and nephews. Even his great nieces and nephews had a very big impact on him, and he loved talking to them and listening to everything they told him. Jesus had a special place in his heart for his life partner of 20 years, Victoria M. Robles. Together they shared an adventure full of love and life and were officially married on March 14, 2020. Jesus treasured his special gifts from the Lord, his children Marissa, Jesus Jr, Felicia, and Joe.
Jesus accomplished much in life but will always be remembered for the importance he placed on relationships with the family. He was a sweetheart who always enjoyed being with those closest to him and made everyone laugh. His capacity for generosity knew no bounds and he never hesitated to help anyone with support, encouragement, and guidance. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life; passing on life's lessons, watching his loved ones succeed and thrive, and feeling hopeful for the future of those he knew. Jesus loved when family and friends would get together to celebrate holidays and life's accomplishments. While his time in the world must conclude he will live forever through those he loved.
Jesus is survived by his wife Victoria M. Robles; children, Marissa, Jesus Jr., and Felicia Santillan; stepson, Joe Mata; mother, Sylvia Salazar; father, Manuel Santillan; siblings, Juan Santillan, Mary Valdez (John), Soledad Bernal (Ruben), Margie Santillan; nineteen nieces and nephews; in addition to numerous extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022, at Castillo Funeral Home from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Chapel Service to begin at 6:00 pm.
