Jesusa "Suzy" Garcia passed away peacefully on June 30, 2024 surrounded by the warmth and love of her family.  She was 70 years old.  She was born in San Antonio, Texas, on December 28, 1953, and spent her life in San Antonio with her husband of 40 years, raising their family.  Her love for her husband continued to her final days and was often demonstrated by tender moments when she refused to let go of his hand.

Suzy's life was a testament to her unwavering dedication to her family.  She found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren, a time that allowed her to relive the enchantment of childhood. Her commitment to her grandchildren was such that the family fondly recalls the days when she managed to coordinate school carpools at three different locations.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Teodora "Lola" Arenas, her parents Juanita A. Luna and Victor Luna, her sister Lydia Cortinas, and a very special sister-in-law, Nora Luna.

She is survived by her husband, Crescenciano Aranda Garcia, and their children, Daniel (Mari) Luna, Jennifer (Robert) Garza, Stephanie (Vincent) Gutierrez, and Roy (Aamanda) Garcia. Her siblings Olivia, Mary, Celia, Victor, Ruben, David, Joe, and Robert, as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and  friends.

The family is deeply touched and grateful for the love and care that Suzy received in her lifetime. They find solace in the knowledge that she now rests eternally in God's loving arms.
