Joann Flores, 49, was granted her angel wings on November 9, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas.

She was born November 09, 1974, in Racine, Wisconsin to parents Encarnacion and Estella Flores. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends. Joann is preceded in death by her Husband Jorge Rivas.

Joann was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She is survived by her daughter Marissa Flores, three sons; Pedro Carreon, Adrian Carreon and Faustino Angel Buentello, grandchildren; Laila Garcia, Izzy Garcia, Elijah Mateo Carreon and Santiago Rene Carreon. Her sisters are Diana Flores, Marlene Flores, twin sisters; Veronica and Virginia Flores as well as her brothers Encarnacion Flores Jr. and Gabriel Flores with many nieces and nephews. She loved and touched everyone deeply in many ways.

Joann was a dedicated mother; she treasured her children and grandchildren while embracing every moment with them. She had a vivacious personality and made those around her laugh. She was the life of the party. She made friends everywhere, loved to BBQ and spending time outdoors with family and friends. Joann loved Tejano music and with a cold drink in hand, would dance the night away.
