Joe Botello Jr. born on July 20,1969, in San Antonio, Texas passed away peacefully surrounded by those he loved most on February 04, 2024, at the age of 54. He was a hard working journeyman electrician and was a shy quiet man with a big heart. He was a funny and caring person. He believed in our Lord Jesus. Joe's nickname was "Gato" because of his beautiful green eyes. He was a fighter to the very end. He is preceded in death by his parents Joe Botello Sr. and Genevieve Wing; two brothers Alfonso Garza & Raul Mejia. Joe is survived by his children Joe Alfonso Botello III, Joe Anthony Botello, Brianna Nicole Botello, Joe Angel Botello, and Jennifer Marie Botello; siblings Connie Mejia, Eddie Wing (Rachel), Tony Huizar, and Sylvia Ruiz; along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Visitation to take place on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm with a Rosary to begin at 6:00pm. Family and friends will depart in procession at 9:30am from Castillo Funeral Home for a 10:00am Funeral Mass at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Wildflower Cemetery.
