Joe Hinojosa, beloved son, father, grandfather and brother passed away peacefully on Monday, January 29, 2024 at the age of 64. Although Joe's family's hearts are filled with sorrow they have peace in knowing that Joe is no longer in pain and his body is no longer suffering. Joe was born in San Antonio, Texas on November 29, 1959. He was an avid fisherman and skilled carpenter. He loved football and was a devoted Texsan football fan. Joe will be deeply missed by all those that were blessed to have known and loved him, but his legacy of love will live on forever. Joe is reunited in heaven with his father Rafael Hinojosa, Sr., daughter Amy Denise Hinojosa, brother Richard Hinojosa and sister in law Elisa Hinojosa. Joe is deeply loved and will be forever missed by his mother Rebeca G. Hinojosa, best friend Sonia who was in his life until the very end, siblings Ralph Hinojosa, Jr., Roy Hinojosa (Francis), Ronnie Hinojosa (Sandra), Rachel Hidalgo (Ramiro) and Randy Lee Hinojosa, granddaughters Amelia Grace Hinojosa and Ava Jayne Sinclaire plus numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Visitation will be held at Castillo Funeral Home on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 3:30pm to 8pm with an evening service recited at 6pm. Rest in Peace GPOP. "Just Joe, Gone Fishin"
