Joey Cantu gained his angel wings on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. He was 27years old. He was born in San Antonio, TX, On May 19, 1995, to Ray & Rosa Velia Cantu.

Joey is preceded in death by his Sister, Christina Cantu & Brother, Ray Cantu. His grandparents, Emilio & Teresa Gomez and Joe Cantu.

Joey is loved and will be missed by his parents, Ray & Rosa Velia Cantu. His grandmother Martina Cantu. His children Leah, Celeste, Leonardo, & Naomi. His siblings Sharon Nunez, Jim Cantu & wife Bianca, Peggy Al-Ghamdi & husband Jameel, Sammy Cantu, Simon Cantu, & Gasspar Cantu.  Also, by his numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Joey loved to do many things. He was always fixing something. Whether that be a computer or car stereo, he was always focused on creating things. He loved art and music and was passionate about his truck and how loud it was. "Esta bruta," he would say. In the end, life was not easy for Joey, but we knew his heart was pure. He is now in God's Garden, surrounded by the angels, resting forever.
