Joe R. Mendez, born on November 30, 1935, was called home to be with our Lord on January 4, 2024, at the age of 88.  He is reunited in Heaven with his daughters, Diane De La Rosa and Mary Ann Mendez and his sons, Joe Ybarra and Joe Mendez.  Mr. Mendez is loved and will be greatly missed by his children, Norma Jaramillo, Ernest Mendez, Eloy Ybarra, Ramiro Mendez, Leticia Mendez, Oscar Mendez (Irma), Gilbert Mendez (Gloria), Abel Mendez (Angela) and Raul Mendez (Carysa); sisters, Mary Diaz and Gloria Mendez as well as numerous grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. with a Rosary to be Recited at 3 p.m. at Castillo Funeral Home.
