Joe Alva Rodriguez

Joe A. Rodriguez, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on January 14, 1939, in Bryan, Texas, Joe lived a life defined by love, service, and generosity.

A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Joe served his country with honor for 24 years, retiring in 1980 at the age of 41. Following his distinguished military career, he worked for AT&T for 20 years, retiring once again in 2000. His dedication and strong work ethic were matched only by his kindness and the respect he showed to everyone he met.

Joe shared nearly 60 and a half wonderful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Ramona T. Rodriguez. Together, they built a loving home and a lifetime of cherished memories. He is also survived by his four children: Joe Phillip Rodriguez, Sonia Rodriguez, Mark Anthony Rodriguez, and Margaret Arlene Rodriguez-Casas; nine beloved grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him endless joy and pride.

Those who knew Joe will remember his gentle heart, his warm smile, and his unwavering generosity. He was a man who quietly helped others, who loved deeply, and who found happiness in family, service, and simple moments of connection.
