Joe R. Salazar, 78, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on December 25, 2025. He was born on November 8, 1947, and dedicated twenty years of his life to serving his country in the United States Army.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Maria and Ruben Salazar; his brothers, Richard and Mando; his sister, Diana; and his niece, Christine.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Frankie; his daughters, Linda and Katherine; his stepchildren, Moses, Jessica, and Justine; his sisters, Rosalinda, Sandra, and Ruby; his grandchildren, Aydan, Christian, Ellis, Ezra, Janelle, Madeline, Michael, Nico, Olivia, Penelope, and Sophia; his great grandchildren, Vanessa and Johnny; as well as many nieces and nephews all of whom will cherish his memory.

Joe's two decades of military service reflected his dedication to duty and country. He will be remembered for his commitment to his family and the legacy he leaves behind in the hearts of those who loved him.
