Obituary

Joe M. Sanchez entered eternal rest on Friday, December 11, 2020 at the blessed age of 92. He was born September 26, 1928 in Brownsville, TX to Jose and Ofelia Sanchez. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was proud to have served his country. He also proudly served our community and city as a San Antonio Police Officer for 35 years. Thank you for the many years of your military and civilian service.
He is reunited in heaven with his wife Ruth M. Sanchez; daughter Patricia Sanchez; parents Jose and Ofelia Sanchez, and sister Lydia Arredondo.  He is loved and will be greatly missed by his children Sylvia Sanchez, Yolanda Rodriguez (Richard), Samuel A. Sanchez (Delia); grandchildren Amanda, Karol, Karla, Marisa, Amber, Samuel Jason and Adria. Great-grandchildren Alexandria,  Zane, Nathaniel, Addalyn, Emma, Isla, Quincy,  and Andrew Joseph; brother Eduardo Sanchez (Theresa); nephews David Sanchez and Michael Arredondo, as well as other family members and friends. He will live forever in our hearts.
