Joel Angel Rodriguez 25, was born on September 28, 1999 to Gabriel Rodriguez and Cynthia Vasquez in San Antonio, TX.  He was the youngest of three boys.  Joel passed away suddenly Sunday June 22, 2025, in San Antonio, TX.

Joel was a kind and compassionate soul with a heart full of love and a quick wit.  He left an indelible mark on the lives of all who knew him.  His infectious sense of humor could brighten even the darkest days and his attentive listening ear was a gift to those around him.  Joel loved to play basketball and football with his cousins, and play his PlayStation 5 with his friends online.  Joel loved his job at Gillman Honda as a Service Advisor.  He was passionate about helping the customers with their car issues.

Joel will be deeply missed by his loved ones, who cherished his kindness, empathy and generosity.  His memory will live on through the countless lives he touched and the lessons he taught us about the importance of compassion, humor and truly listening to one another.  Rest in Peace Joel, your kindness, humor, and love will never be forgotten.

Joel is survived by his mother, Cynthia Vasquez, his brothers' Gabriel Rodriguez, Jr.(Cassandra Castellano), and Julian Rodriguez.  Grandmother Sylvia De La Garza. Numerous aunt's and uncle's and cousin's, two nephews, Luciano Rodriguez, and Gabriel Araiza.

Joel is preceded in death by his father Gabriel Rodriguez, Sr, his paternal grandmother, Olivia M. Rodriguez, paternal grandfather Pedro Rodriguez, Jr. and his maternal grandfather Jerry D. Vasquez
