Joel Ramos
Valencia
September 22, 1951 – June 6, 2022
Joel Ramos Valencia went to be with our Lord on June 6, 2022, at the age of 70.
Joel was born on September 22, 1951, in Monterrey, Mexico. Together Joel and Rosenda shared a twenty nine-year adventure and marriage together before her passing on April 13, 2006. He played an enormous role in the lives of his children and grandchildren who were the pride and joy of his life. Joel enjoyed the simple pleasures of life; great conversations, making someone smile, feeling hopeful for the future of those he knew. As the best role model we knew, he will be immensely missed.
He inspired those around him to be better individuals. His capacity for generosity knew no bounds. He was someone who would help anyone in need with support, encouragement, and guidance. Joel loved when family and friends got together. Those times exist in our memories and will be cherished forever. We loved his caring ways, he will be deeply missed, and his memory will live on.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Rosenda Valencia; son, Roger Valencia (Noela); father, Jamie Valencia; brothers, Javier Valencia, Jaime Valencia Jr., Gerardo 'Jerry' Valencia; and a sister Yvonne (Yves).
He is survived by his sons, Joel Valencia Jr. (Jennifer), James Valencia (Jenny), Jason Valencia (Valerie); stepdaughter, Melinda; fifteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; mother, Aurora Valencia; brother, Jorge Valencia (Alice); in addition to numerous extended family and friends.
There are no words that can express the feelings in our hearts. Thank you for your prayers and support during this difficult time. Your shared memories, comforting condolences and gestures of love are truly appreciated.
