John Anthony Gonzales was called into the Lord's arms on Friday, April 28, 2023, at the age of 32. John was born in San Antonio, Texas to Jose Gonzales and Alice Rubio on August 2, 1990. John was an amazing Husband, Father, Son and brother who will be dearly missed. While we were not ready for you to go, we will cherish the memories we have made for the rest of our lives. John is reunited in Heaven with his Mom Alice "Licha" Rubio and his brother Rudy Fernandez. John is survived by his loving wife of 9 years Sandra Duran; his children Jayleen Ojeda, Jayden Ojeda, Jazzlyn Ojeda, John Anthony Gonzales, Jr., and Jaleesa Rosee Gonzales; siblings Alicia Reynosa, David Reynosa, and Jessica Gonzales; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family; and his fur baby Kimbo.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, May 14, 2023 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm with a Rosary to begin at 6:00pm. Family and friends will depart from Castillo Funeral Home at 10:00am on Monday, May 15, 2023 for a 10:30 mass at St. Jude Catholic Church. Burial to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
