John Lightfoot Gulley was the oldest son of James and Esther Gulley. He was the oldest son for seven generations. He had many relatives and friends, who knew and loved him.
He was a kind man who spent his life doing good and helping others as his illness and circumstances permitted. He believed in preparing for the future. He enjoyed music and played the drums in the school band. He is survived by his brother, Thomas Gulley; sister-in-law, Mary Alice; sister, Julia Hayes; and brother-in-law Bill. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is much loved and will be greatly missed.
