Our cherished son, brother, father, nephew, cousin, and friend, John Roland Orta, age 50, has been called home to be with the Lord. He obtained his GED at Fox Tech High School in 1994. John's most recent role was at Toyota, but he also enjoyed various jobs, including hauling with Steves & Sons, which allowed him to explore different states and enjoy sightseeing. John was a laid-back individual who cherished family time and loved his Greenbay Packers.

He is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Isidro and Victoria Villanueva, Joe and Celia Orta, great-grandparents Geronimo and Rosa Escobedo, and uncles Mike, Henry, and David Villanueva. John leaves behind his children: John Roland, Melissa, Andrew, Victoria, Angelica, Jeremy, and Genevieve Orta, along with four granddaughters.

He is also survived by his parents, Victoria and Robert Mendez, and Roland and Maria Orta, as well as his siblings Sandra (Jesse), Michelle (Robert), Lisa, Joe, David, and Roland, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. His two special aunts, Lilly and Diane, were incredibly important to him, serving as steadfast pillars of support he could always rely on. Along with his partner Kathy Pintor & children, they held a special place in his heart.
