John "Big John" David Trevino gained his wings on August 31, 2020 at the young age of 57. He was born on April 4, 1963 to Robert L. Trevino Sr and Alice R. Trevino.
​John had a love for classic muscle cars and many different types in music ranging from Motown to Classic Rock. His favorite tools were his own two hands and knew his way around a car motor or an airplane. He had a love for hunting, drag racing, bowling and so much more. He graduated from United High School in Laredo, TX. He had this magical way of diagnosing your car trouble just by describing the noises or sounds your vehicle was making. He could sit there and tell you the wiring system of any airplane from nose to tail.
​John is preceded in death by his Son John Manuel Trevino, his Daughter Laura Francis Trevino, his parents, his brother Andy Trevino, his sister Gloria Trevino and so many others. He is survived by his loving Wife Martha Dimas Trevino, Daughter Candace L. Trevino and Son Jacob E. Trevino. He is survived by his Brother Jim Crawford (Marlene), Jerry Crawford (Donna), Robert Trevino Jr (Rosa), SisterTeresa Trevino Kveragas (Joseph), Sister Yolanda Trevino, Sister Jane Trevino, and Sister Kathy Trevino, and lastly all his nieces, nephews, cousins, and all his friends.
​John was an amazing storyteller and had so much wisdom to share and positively impacted the lives of all who knew him. Although he is no longer with us, his extreme humor, smile and laughter will be missed but his memory will carry on in the hearts of all who loved him.
