In loving memory of Jose Alejo Garcia, husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2023, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family. Jose was 64 years old; he was born in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico, on October 29, 1958, to Alejo " Yeyo " and Maria Esther "Yeya" Garcia. He was the oldest of four children, Maria Magdalena, Pablo, and Mario Garcia.
Jose graduated from Fox Tech High School in 1977. Jose's first marriage gave him two beautiful children, Brenda Ann Garcia, and Joe Alex Garcia. Jose's love story with his wife, Elizabeth, began when they met in 2001. Jose and Elizabeth were meant for one another and married on March 28, 2003. They had been married for twenty years. Their marriage was built on a foundation of love, trust, and respect, which gave them two beautiful children, Alexa Joyce Garcia, and Alexander Alejo Garcia.
Jose was a hard worker. He worked as a merchandiser for Keurig Dr. Pepper for eight years. Jose previously worked for a local magazine distributor for many years. Jose didn't just work hard for his employers but worked harder for his family and his home. He loved the outdoors and loved to plant and garden. He was passionate about soccer and loved watching Family Feud while having dinner. He was a devoted Catholic who listened to the scriptures and prayed. He enjoyed fishing, barbequing at his home, and being surrounded by family. Jose was also such a loving and caring man that he welcomed his stepchildren, Jesus Ricardo Rodriguez IV, and Julian Dominique Evander Rodriguez , as his own. His community and neighbors also loved Jose. Anger and hate were never let into his heart. Jose was a loving man who put everyone before himself.
Jose survived by his wife Elizabeth Garcia, his children, Brenda Ann Garcia , Joe Alex Garcia, Alexa Joyce Garcia and Alexander Alejo Garcia; his stepchildren, Jesus and Julian Rodriguez; grandkids, Angelica Alexandrea Herrera, Angel Ruben Herrera, Mia Bella Garcia; great-grandchild, Serenity Ann Garcia. Jose is also survived by his siblings, M ario Garcia, Pablo Garcia, Maria Magdalena Garcia, and their Families.
Jose was preceded in d eath by his parents, Alejo Garcia Favila and Maria Esther Garcia.
