Jose Ascencion Astrain Jr born July 25, 1995 in San Antonio, Texas went to be with our Lord on May 1, 2021.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Heriberto Astrain Perez and Maria Santos Sanchez.

He leaves behind to cherish in his memory; daughters, Dalilah Rose Astrain + Aubreanna Nichole Astrain, stepdaughter, Cathrina, parents, Jose Astrain Sr. + Diana Astrain; brother, Joe Anthony Astrain; grandparents, Antonio + Sabina Huerta and his nephew, Roman Morales.

Despite his short time on earth, he was deeply loved and brought immense joy to those around him. We loved his sense of humor and his caring ways. Jose will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Castillo Mission Funeral Home from 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. A chapel service at Castillo Mission Funeral Home will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. with burial to follow at First Memorial Cemetery.
