October 17, 1991 – August 23, 2023
Jose Luis Coronado Jr, passed on to be with the Lord on August 23rd of 2023 at the age of 31.
Jose was born in Crystal City on October 17th, 1991 to Jose Luis Coronado Sr & Santa Juanita
(Medina) Coronado.
He attended Fox Tech High School in San Antonio, Texas. He also continued his education at
various trade schools in San Antonio enriching his skills and experience.
From a young age, Jose loved to express his creativity through various forms of art. He loved to
draw classic cars and cartoons. As his passion for art grew, his body became a canvas for his
creativity through his love of tattoos. Jose learned many skills passed on from his father, Jose
Luis Coronado Sr. This included carpentry where he learned how to create furniture such as
tables. Jose also had masonry skills in which he used to create a beautiful concrete bench that
imitated tree trunks.
Outside his creativity and skills, Jose was an intelligent, hard working, playful, kind and caring
soul that loved to make family and friends laugh through jokes. He would go out of his way to
lend a helping hand. Jose loved to fish, loved spending time with friends, and loved to read the
bible.
He is survived by his loving parents, Jose Luis Coronado and Santa Juanita Coronado. His
siblings, Francisco Javier Medina, Pedro Alberto Coronado, Raul Coronado, Anthony Coronado
and Ashley Marie Coronado. His daughters Yarellie Arleth Coronado-Rayos and Melanie Celine
Coronado-Rayos.
Jose will always remain in the hearts and memories of those who loved him, today, tomorrow
and forever. He now rests with the Lord.
"And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life,
neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not
even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love." — Romans 8:38
