Jose R. Donato was called to his heavenly home on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at the age of 66. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on January 10, 1955 to Pedro and Estella Donato. Joe loved being around family and telling jokes. His hobbies were painting, putting together puzzles or model cars. He would like taking things apart and tried putting them back together. He loved playing Loteria and cheering on his favorite teams, The Spurs and The Cowboys. Joe is reunited in Heaven with his Parents Pedro G. and Estella R. Donato, siblings Felipe R. Donato, Irene Martinez, Robert R. Donato, Rosa Ontiveros, and Antonio R. Donato. He will truly be missed by many, but Joe's legacy will live on in the hearts of his siblings Pedro R. Donato Jr., Alice Donato, Gloria Benavidez, Henry R. Donato, Carlos G. Donato, Ofelia R. Donato, and Johnny R. Donato, along with numerous extended family and friends. Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 3:30pm until 8:00pm with a prayer service to take place at 6:00pm. Family and friends will gather for a graveside service at San Jose Burial Park at 10:00am on Friday, July 9, 2021.
