Joe Hernandez Jr was born on November 15,1953 in San Antonio, Texas entered into eternal rest on July 28,2022 at the age of 68 years old.

Joe is preceded in death by his Father Jose Hernandez Sr, Mother Rufina Hernandez, Brother Juan Barrera, Paternal Grandmother Lina Garbo, and Brother In Law Jimmy Rios.

He is survived by his siblings Delia(Henry) Reyes, Alicia(Joe) Luna, Guadalupe Rios, Herlinda(David) Attwood, Frank(Debra) Hernandez, David(Rachel) Hernandez, Danny Hernandez, Diana(Mario) Perez, Longtime Bestfriend Robert Arenas, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Joe was a great person who was willing to help anyone in need. He was funny with a great sense of humor. He loved dancing, barbequing for the family and listening to music while sitting on the porch outside. He was an avid San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys fan. Joe loved his cats, but he especially loved spending time with the family. He leaves behind many, many precious memories that we will carry with us in our hearts and he will truly be loved and missed by his family and everyone whose lives he touched.
