It is with profound sadness to announce the passing of Jose M. Gutierrez of San Antonio, Texas who left us to be with our Lord on Monday, January 4, 2021.

Jose was born on September 18, 1939.  He was a great dancer who danced to his own beat and enjoyed being with his family.  Jose was a strong, proud, and a good man.  As one of his last wishes he made sure to tell us not to forget to take him flowers.  He is loved and will be missed by many.

He preceded in death by his parents, Pedro Gutierrez and Cipriana Martinez; and his siblings, Able, Luis, Espie, Pedro, Ausie and Maggie.

He is survived by his 4 children Perla Ruiz, Joe Bobby Gutierrez (Rosario), Peter Gutierrez (Jeanette), Russell Gutierrez (Michelle). He had 16 grandchildren.  Perla Guerrero (Roland), Valerie Perez, Nathain Gutierrez (Lizzette), Rachel Gutierrez (Gilbert), Steven Ruiz Jr., Thomas Gutierrez, Samantha Garcia, (Alex) Priscilla Gutierrez, Bridgette Gutierrez (Mitch), Christopher Gutierrez, Breanna Gutierrez, Alyssa Gutierrez, Nicholas Gutierrez, Allen Gutierrez, Adrian Gutierrez, and Brendan Gutierrez.  He also had 15 great grandchildren.  Rodolfo Torres IV, Adonis Ponce, Sabrina Guerrero, Daniella Garcia, Kimberly Guerrero, Damian Gutierrez, Neveah Perez, Isabella Garcia, Aria Perez, Aviana Perez, Ariana Guerrero, Averyana Guerrero, Carmella Garcia, Lazarus Gutierrez, and Roland Guerrero Jr.; and his siblings, Robert, Benny, Corina, Florence, Josie and Mary; as well as a numerous of relatives and friends.
