Jose was born on January 8, 1923, in Mexico to the late Cristobal and Guadalupe Jimenez. He accomplished so many incredible things in life, but he was especially proud of and loved his family. All the memories made together with him will be cherished forever. He shared 62 years of marriage with his late wife, Eloisa Jimenez. Jose graduated from high school in Falfurrias, Texas. He entered the military on May 15, 1943, and separated on October 25, 1945. He then returned to his military service from May 17, 1948, until he retired on July 1, 1966. Jose spent the remainder of his working career in civil service at Randolph AFB before officially retiring. He enjoyed shooting pool and having a cold one with friends. He was incredibly knowledgeable, working on cars and carpentry and in later years tinkering with lawnmowers. Jose was so full of life during the time he was with us. His capacity for generosity knew no bounds as he was someone who would help and give to anyone in need including giving to different charities. He inspired those around him to be a better person. He was devoted to his faith and family and brought immense joy to those around him. We loved his caring ways, and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Words cannot express the feeling in our hearts. Thank you for your prayers and support during this difficult time. Your shared memories, comforting condolences and gestures of love are truly appreciated.
