Jose M. Garcia, age 78, passed away on Wednesday January 28, 2026 surrounded by love and family. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Jose is preceded in death by his loving parents Augustine and Carmen Garcia.

Jose lived a life defined by hard work, quiet strength, and love for his family. He was known for his dedication, his wisdom, and the care he showed to those around him. He believed in showing up for the people he loved and led by example through his actions.

Above all, Jose cherished his family. He leaves behind his wife of 49 years Yolanda P. Garcia, his children Laura Phillips, Joann Garcia, Joe Michael Garcia Jr, Mark Garcia, Thomas Garcia, and 7 grandchildren Urijah D. Phillips, Skylar D. Phillips, Cristian S. Garcia, Matthew J. Garcia, Savannah J. Garcia, Sonny Luke Garcia, and baby Liam R. Banda who will forever hold his memory in their hearts and carry forward the lessons he taught through his life. His legacy lives on through the stories shared, the values he passed down, and the love he gave freely.
