Jose Mario Castillo of San Antonio, Texas passed away April 15,2020. He was born February 17, 1942 in Eagle Pass, Texas to Jose Castillo and Felicitas Castillo. Jose Mario Castillo married Maria Luisa Ruiz in 1966. They moved to Pierceton, Indiana where they had the their first son. Shortly after they moved to San Antonio, Texas and were blessed with their second son. Together, the four of them lived a life filled with love and happiness.

Jose Mario Castillo was born and raised in Eagle Pass, Texas and was the oldest of seven. He was a devoted son and sibling. Naturally he began to work at an early age, to meet the ever growing needs of his family. He had a passion for classic, American muscle cars and trucks. He loved listening to "oldies but goodies." At the height of the 50's he was a young, handsome man that always "dressed to impress." Jose Mario Castillo had a strong willed attitude and an infectious sense of humor, his presence was always known. From the time he walked into a room eyes were drawn to him, dressed to the nines, clean cut, clean shaven and always walked in wearing Stacy Adams.

Jose Mario Castillo dedicated his life to his family and most importantly taught his sons the value of hard work. He often overcame challenges through persistence and an unwavering commitment to his Catholic faith.
Later in life Jose Mario Castillo devoted his time to St. Jude Catholic Church where he was an active member and former President of the Holy Name Society. He graciously devoted 10 years of service.

Jose Mario Castillo is survived by his wife Maria Luisa Castillo; his two sons, Jose Mario Castillo Jr and his wife Esmeralda Castillo; Fidencio Castillo and his wife Analia Castillo; He is survived by his six grandchildren: Karrie Castillo Aguilera and her husband Emanuel G Aguilera; Jose Mario Castillo III; Fidencio Castillo Jr. and his wife Desiree Aurora Mendez; Maria Luisa Castillo; Aliya Mercedes Castillo; Mark Anthony Castillo; Jose Mario Castillo is also survived by his three great grandchildren: Derek Francis Aguilera, Emanuel Levi Aguilera and the youngest, Whitley Forrest Castillo.
