Jose Peña was born on May 24, 1952, in San Antonio, Texas. He passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday morning, May 14, 2023.

He loved spending time with family. He was a proud husband, father, and grandfather. He was a fan of any sports activities his sons and grandchildren were involved in. He loved spending time outdoors caring for his yard, fixing his boat, cooking out, and walking his dog. He enjoyed seeing his team the Dallas Cowboys play. He was a big do it yourself person at home and loved working on his house and was a very dependable person, someone you could always count on. He loved going fishing with family and sharing memories about his life.

Jose was the son of the late Enrique and Salome Peña. He is survived by his wife Delia Peña; his three sons, five grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and his five siblings.

The family will receive guests at Castillo Funeral Home on Thursday, June 8, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm for visitation. A Chapel Service will be conducted Thursday at 6:00 pm.
