Obituary

Jose R. Sanchez was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at the blessed age of 78. He was born August 29, 1943 in Eagle Pass, TX to Salvador and Victoria Sanchez. He is reunited in heaven with his wife Yolanda Sanchez; He is loved and will be greatly missed by his children Joe Sanchez and wife Magaly Sanchez; Laura Cortez and husband Gregorio Cortez; grandchildren Yvette Cortez, Jenett Cortez, Aiden Sanchez, Sophie Sanchez; siblings Delia Tyler, Diana Herbert, Salvador Sanchez, Jr., as well as extended family members and friends.
Joe was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He then worked with the NBC bank for twenty years, then worked for Homeland Security until retirement. He loved playing his guitar, singing, and spending time with his family and friends.

Joe was loved by many and will always be remembered for his caring and giving nature, his generosity and love for life, and his humor.  He was a great father, grandfather, uncle and friend to many. Heaven has gained our most beloved blessing. He will live forever in our hearts.
