José Luis Sarabia, passed away on August 23, 2024. He passed away peacefully in the presence of his family. He is preceded in death by his loving and faithful wife, Oralia Sarabia. Jose and Oralia were married for 46 years. He was born on May 29, 1954, in Piedras Negras Coahuila México. He was one of 13 children born to his father and mother, Juan Sarabia and Gabina Díaz. He is also preceded in death by siblings, Maria L. Sarabia Diaz, Adelaida Sarabia Díaz Sanchez, Juana Marcela Sarabia Díaz, Alejandra Sarabia Díaz and Arculano Sarabia Díaz.

Jose was a hard worker, and a good provider to his family even as a young boy growing up in Mexico. He worked as an Automotive painter for over 50 years.

Jose loved to play baseball, watch and coach soccer, and he loved listening to music, and dancing cumbias. He was always the life of the party and he always told jokes. Jose loved his family and always made sure he would help them anyway he could.

Jose is loved and will be greatly missed by his sons José Luis Sarabia Jr.(Elida), Ricardo Sarabia(Michele), Juan José Sarabia(Marlana)and Joel Sarabia(Christina ). 13 grandchildren; Christian Rodriguez, Jolyne Sarabia, Jose Sarabia III, Ricardo Sarabia Jr, Tomas Sarabia, Miranda Sarabia, Marissa Sarabia, Avery Sarabia, Juan Sarabia Jr, Joel Sarabia Jr, Nolan Sarabia, Jasmine Sarabia and Ismael Sarabia. Siblings, Gregorio Sarabia Díaz, Marta Sarabia Díaz Medina, Francisco Sarabia Díaz, Martín Sarabia Díaz, Carlos Sarabia, Alicia Sarabia, María de Jesús Sarabia Díaz, Rosaelia Sarabia Díaz, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests at Castillo Funeral Home on Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm for visitation and at 6:00 pm for the celebration of life service.

Burial will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024, with a graveside service at 10:00 am in San Fernando Cemetery III.
