Jose S. Vara, born on February 2, 1954 went to be with the Lord on January 14, 2021 at

Dad met his sweetheart Majina B. Rodriguez and were together for 41 years. Mom
passed away 11 days after dad. They will forever be together in Heaven. Dad was a
hardworking, loving, and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He had a great friendly personality that made friends wherever he went. He was always
joking and making everyone laugh. Dad was a painter for 46 years, but nothing was more
memorable than being a referee for the Luchas. Juan Diego was his name in the ring.
Dad could really get a crowd going. Dad loved being up in the ring with all the
Luchadores. During his fee time dad liked to watch different movies. He would always
repeat the funny part to the movies to make us laugh. During parties he would be the life
of the party getting up to dance or just making everyone laugh. Dad was always smiling
and laughing no matter what kind of day he was having. We will miss hearing that laugh
and seeing that smile.
Dad was an incredible man. He loved life and he loved us, his family so much. I know we
have all heard this before and I had not really realized it until now, that Life is a lot
shorter than any of us realize and you just do not know what you have until it's gone.
Our lives will be so different without him and we will miss him so much. He will forever
be in our hearts. We love you Dad.
