Beloved mother and grandmother "Pepita" as she was affectionately known. A women who loved and was well-loved; Josefa Garcia transitioned peacefully, early Thursday morning April 27, 2023 at the age of 95.

Josefa was born on March 19, 1928, in Agujita, Coahuila Mexico. She was the first born daughter of the late Maria Guerrero and Anastacio Garcia. She was a humble person who gave and never asked for much. She enjoyed traveling, arts and crafts but above all creating memories with her love ones.

Josefa is survived by her beloved children Patricia Greenberg, Eusebia Moreno, Petra Castellanos, Rosa Maria Ayala, Fidencio Romo, Gilberto Romo, Martin Romo, and Ernesto Rodriguez.

She has left a legacy of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren;

Siblings, Ernesto Garcia, Michaela Rodriguez, and Maria Cardenas, In addition to numerous extended family and friends.

The family will receive guests for visitation on

May 8, 2023, at Castillo Funeral Home from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The Holy Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm during visitation.

A funeral service will be conducted on May 9, 2023, in the Castillo Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park and Cemetery.
