Josefa "Josie" L. Baca born on September 7, 1945, has gone into the loving arms of our Lord on July 31, 2024, at the blessed age of 78.

She is preceded in death by her parents Antonio and Cristina Lopez, her husband Juvencio Baca, her brothers Alfredo and Ramon Lopez, her sister Mary Ann Pena, and her grandchildren John Patrick and Rebecca Herrera.

She is survived by her children Lee A. Baca (Anne Marie), Andrew L. Baca (Lucy), Sonia Reyes (Angel Sr.), and Leticia L. Herrera (John), her brother Antonio Lopez, as well as 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is best remembered for her dedicated service to the Edgewood Independent School District as a paraprofessional for over 25 years, as well as an active member of the West End Senior Community and Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. She will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
