Josefina "Josie" Espinoza, age 93, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas.
Josie, or "Chula" as she was affectionately known, was born in Dilley, Texas on January 21,1932, daughter of the late Juventino and Lucia Elizondo. Josie was a beloved grandmother, mother, and friend throughout her lifetime and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her gentle nature, warm smiles, and love for attending dances, but most of all, for the love she had for her family. Josie had 9 children, 21 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her sons Francisco, Honorio, Gilbert (Kenny), Steven, David, and Larry. She is survived by daughters Melba (Dennis) Solheim, Linda Clayton, and Kathleen "Kathy" (Keith) Cathey.
