Josefina P. San Miguel passed away peacefully on March 20, 2022, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family, at the age of 75.
Josefina was born in Yorktown, Texas on November 2, 1946. She spoke fondly of the memories of her family's hard work out in the fields, and preparing meals with her mother at home. She was a devoted employee, retiring from San Antonio Shoe factory after 25 years of service. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, ensuring her family was fed with her amazing home-cooked meals. She loved dressing up and doing her make-up, always making sure she looked her best. She loved music, and still remembered the words to her favorite songs to this day.  She will be missed immensely.
Josefina has reunited in heaven with her beloved parents, Tiburcio and Isabel Perez, 3 older brothers, and 6 older sisters.
She is survived by her sons, Alex San Miguel Jr., Javier (Michelle) San Miguel, and her daughter, Crissy (Eddie) DeWitt, 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
