Josefina
Nieto
September 15, 1961 – September 17, 2024
Josefina Nieto passed away peacefully on September 17, 2024, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. She was born September 15,1961 in San Antonio, Texas to parents Julia Moncada and Tiburcio Davila and had 9 brothers and sisters. She graduated from Lanier High School in 1982. Many who knew Josie knew that she was an extremely hard-working individual and took pride in being a very independent woman. She loved her children to no end and was an endless support to them. She loved traveling the world and was able to do so through a career that she loved. Josie also had a love for motorcycles and occasionally some chaos (as do many of us). She was known by so many as a Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast and rider. She had such a huge loving heart and was always there for anyone in need especially for family and friends. She was the type of person who would stay the night with you in an attempt to comfort and help you feel safe and at ease. She touched the lives of all who came across her. She will be dearly missed. Josie is preceded in death by her mother Julia, father Tiburcio, brother George, and sister Mary. She is survived by her significant other Angel Nunez, her son Anselmo Nieto Jr. and wife Claudia, her daughter Amanda Nieto, daughter Valerie Aguilar and husband Ben, 14 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. As we bid farewell to our loving mother who was a pillar of strength and a beacon of love and light in our darkest times we vow to live our lives to the fullest with her honor and grace.
