Joseph ended his journey on this earth on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at the young age of 25. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Alicia Rodriguez and Jose R. Zepeda, uncles, Roger Rodriguez and Alex Rodriguez and aunt, Joann Morales. He is survived by his daughter, Isabella Grace Zepeda, daughter's mother, Brianna Soto, mother, Jeanette Rivera, father, Frank Zepeda, brothers, Frank Anthony Zepeda, Alex Roman, Kobe Roman, Julian Roman, and sister, Milauni Roman. He is also survived by his grandparents, Diana and Jose Rivera, aunts, Lisa M. Rivera, Monica Martinez, Virginia Rodriguez, Alicia Zepeda, and uncles, Jose L. Zepeda and Ray Rodriguez in addition to numerous cousins, extended family and loving friends.

Joseph was a loving dad, son and grandson. He graduated from South San High School in 2015. He played basketball and people knew him for his love of playing basketball. Joseph also loved fishing every chance he could. He received his apprentice electrician license at St. Philips College. He was on his way to a very promising future. Joseph was employed at Sunrun Solar company. Joseph will be deeply missed by all who knew him but his spirit, love and the memories will endure in our hearts forever.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of Castillo funeral home, 520 N. General McMullen, San Antonio TX 78228. A visitation will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022, at Castillo funeral home from 4:00 to 8:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm. The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at St. Leonard Catholic Church at 12:00 pm with interment to follow at San Fernando II Catholic Cemetery.
