On Friday March 12, 2021, at the age of 88. Josephine C. Gonzales passed peacefully to be with our Heavenly Father. She was surrounded by her close Family. Having lived a wonderful life, she brought joy and comfort to everyone she met. Not only did she live for her family, but also her church. She administered the Eucharist to the homebound, and had served for many years as a Guadalupana. She was very active in day-to-day duties involving the church, which brought her much joy. Josephine was born in Harlingen, Texas, to Amado and Dolores Carrillo. She then relocated to San Antonio, Texas, where she married Roy C. Gonzales, and raised her family. During her early years she worked as a food server. After acquiring her GED, she worked for the Texas Agricultural Extension Services, from where she retired from. She was a beautiful soul and will be greatly missed by her family, friends, church members and others. Josephine may have left this earth, but she left her mark in the hearts of her family and friends. She gave us so many wonderful memories that we will forever cherish.
