Josephine R. Medrano (better know as Josie) passed away peacefully on May 19, 2020, surrounded by the warmth and loving family members.  She was 81 years old.  She was born in Michigan, Cass, on August 30, 1938

Josephine was a resident of the Sunshine Apartment complex, she lived independently for several years.  Most people know of being employed at Parker's Cafe.  Josephine was a single mother, and know to be a renaissance women, with many skill sets.  She was a cook, mechanic, labor, truck driver, housekeeper, etc.  She treasured the beautiful memories she created with her family through her lifetime, especially her annual trip to Las Vegas with her dearest sister Felipa.

Josephine is also preceded in death by her sister; Rose Fernandez, and Mary Briseno.  Brothers; George "Blackie" Rodriguez, Valentin Rodriguez, Eddie Rodriguez, George "Moe" Rodriguez. Mother, Celia Rodriguez. Father, Fernando Rodriguez.

Josephine is loved and will be missed by her son Frank Medrano, and daughter Mary Jane Flores. Her nephews; Tony, Carlos, Robert "Woody", Micheal, and James.  Her grandchildren; Edward Matthew, Miranda Zoe, John Eric, Heri, Marcus, Gilbert Sebastian, Frankie.
