Obituary

Josie Aragon passed away peacefully on February 5, 2020, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. She was 70 years old. Josie was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on August 18, 1949. Daughter to Leandro Rodriguez Sr. and Antonia Ferdin Rodriguez.
In 1967 she met and instantly fell in love with the love of her life, Patrick Aragon Sr. who preceded her in death in 2004. Patrick and Josie shared 37 loving years together. Josie was known as (Yeppers), a catch phrase she frequently used. She loved to cook for everyone. Her menudo was out of this world however, her specialty was her famously known tamales. She always said "Good morning morning" to everyone she crossed paths with, stranger or not. She loved drinking coffee and creating memories with her family. She always put family first and had a special way of making everyone feel unique and loved. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Most precious to Josie was her faith in God and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Josie is loved and will be tremendously missed. She is survived by her siblings, Antonia Victoriano, Leandro Rodriguez Jr., Gante Muñoz, Oralia Gatica, Margarita Aragon, and Johnny Rodriguez. Daughters, Judy Aranda (Valentin Aranda Sr.); Julie Arriola, Jo Ann McClure (David McClure); Jody Alvarez (Mark Alvarez Sr.); sons, Paul Aragon (Marylou Aragon); and Patrick Aragon Jr. (Rose Aragon); 21 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
